JHS Student Arrested over Open Defecation in School

The devious mostly poured feces in classrooms of the school,  smudged the floor of the entire block, and spread it to the entrance of the Head teacher’s office.

The Police Command in the Adweso District has arrested a JHS 2 student of King of Glory Presbyterian Basic School at Bonya, a community in the New Juaben South Municipal of the Eastern Region for defecating in the school.

The student name known only as Bright was apprehended on Monday, March 1, 2021.

The arrest was by the Adweso Police command following a report by the authorities of the school that certain unscrupulous individuals had resorted to open defecation in the Glory Presbyterian Basic School.

Reports say the devious poured feces in classrooms of the school,  smudged the floor of the entire block, and spread it to the entrance of the Head teacher’s office.

They inscribed names of three teachers, Judith, Polo, and Master with the feces, threatened to hurt them

The bad practice affected studies. Teachers of the school boycotted classes last Monday due to the defecation.

The bad happening however, called for all stakeholders to report the case to the police to bring those perpetrators to book.

In the cause of the police operation, the JHS 2 student, Bright was arrested.

The student is in custody but the police have pledged to apprehend some other crooks associated with the inhumane practice.
