Barely two months after the death of late Ghanaian preacher, Pastor Emmanuel Kwaku Apraku, popularly known as 'Apraku My Daughter', reports started to fly his body has gone missing to explain why he has not been buried since then.

Prophet Kumchacha has now explained that circulating rumors about his close friend are untrue.

He revealed that it has taken this long not because Apraku my daughter's body has gone missing but due to two vital reasons; the emergence of the Coronavirus pandemic and his own mother's death.

He stated that it has been the family's decision to pause the burial of the late Apraku due to the fact that he (Kumchacha) has lost his mother therefore the burial was postponed in deference to his own mother. Kumchacha pleaded with Ghanaians to disregard the rumors that Apraku my Daughter's body has gone missing.

According to Kumchacha, Apraku My daughter will be buried after his own mother has been buried.

“There is time for everything and that is what I want Ghanaians to understand. If the family postpones the burial date because of one or two reasons, is that also a crime? His body is not missing, he is resting in the morgue,” he told Accra-based Kofi TV.

“Apraku will be buried after my mother’s funeral is held this weekend. I am going to my hometown, Apedwa to bury my mother and so when I come back, the family and I will plan his burial,” he said.

Kumchacha said his mother’s funeral will be on August 8, and the following week will be the burial date for the late man of God.

He made known that the funeral will be held at the Glorious Wave Church International, headed by Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi.

‘Apraku My Daughter’ was found dead in his room a day after a video of him heavily drunk went viral.
