Actress says that she’s “utterly disgusted and extremely disappointed” by the comparisons.

Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has voiced her displeasure at the claims made by the Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia comparing the power crisis that befell the country during former President John Mahama’s administration with the pandemic that is crippling the world.

according to the actress, it is an extreme lack of judgement on his part. 

She made her comments after a press conference organized by Dr. Bawumia to respond to former President Mahama’s criticisms of the way President Nana Akufo-Addo has managed the economy. She expressed her discontentment as she shared the video of the press conference on her social media page.

During the Vice President’s press conference Monday, May 4 2020, he compared how former President Mahama managed the power crisis, popularly called Dumsor, that crippled the country in 2015. 

Reacting to the post, Lydia Forson chastised the government for comparing the two situations.
