Brother Sammy has stressed that there's no language like the mother tongue.

The gospel artiste found himself in a very confused state in his 'English' interview with Stacy Amoateng on Restoration with Stacy.

This happened while he was trying to narrate how he became a musician.

“How my music journey started is, my parents, died when I was young. Even my father, I did see him before… I didn’t know where he is now,” he has begun the story, even though it was obvious he was struggling with the language.

“But I saw my mother. My mother die when I was 9 years. So the mother whom I will ask him where is my father, the mother also has die so I join a group of pastors. That pastor, they sleep at a park called Amankwatia Park and we do the church inside the school,” He continued.

Broda Sammy continued his struggle with English by recounting how a pastor once held a program at the school where he ministered with his performance making the pastor invite him to minister in his church located at Berekum.

“He took me there and when I went there, he gave me the church room. I was the watchman there because I pack all the instrument when we close the church to one house there; and when we are coming to do the church, I bring it inside the church and water the church,”

At this point, the artiste was already frustrated with the amount of English he had used, he was already looking stressed from his efforts.

When he could not take it anymore, he paused and said out loud:

“ma me nka Twi na me ho nto me wae” meaning let me express myself in Twi and be free”

This made the host burst into full blown laughter.
