Nana Addo commends STC for peaceful coronation of new queen
Nana Akosua Asor Brayie was enstooled after the demise of Nana Yaa Nyamaa Poduo II the paramount queen (Sunyani-manhemaa), whose sad incident occurred on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at the Regional Hospital in Sunyani.

The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo has commended the Sunyani Traditional Council for a peaceful coronation of the new queen, Nana Akosua Asor Brayie after the demise of Nana Yaa Nyamaa Puduo II almost two years ago.
According to him, it was necessary to get a successor to ensure growth and stability. Nana Addo commended the chiefs and people of Sunyani for their massive support during the 2020 election and for maintaining the Sunyani East and West seats.
He acknowledged the contributions made by the people of Bono to the NPP government and Ghana as a whole which he described as impressive. He eulogized the Employment and Labour Minister, Ignatius Baffour Awuah for his outstanding performance in the sector.
He also acknowledged other Ministers and MPs for their various roles played in putting Ghana on the map. He then assured them of more appointments as he continued to govern the country in his second term.
He however urged the people to continue to support NPP even as they champion to break the eight-course, calling for massive votes in the 2024 general election.
