Unconfirmed report from a reliable sources in the Central Region indicates that, the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) gurus are planning to use their party vigilantes to cause violence in the strong holds of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Assin North Constituency during the upcoming by-elections slated for Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
According to the information to Soireenews. com, the NPP vigilantes or thugs were asked by their paymasters to unleash violence on citizens who are supporters, members and sympathizers of the NDC in the Assin North during the by-elections.
The sources hinted the NPP gurus told their thugs to go round in the communities within the Asssin North to use the strategies to ask questions of the residents of the political parties they would be voting for in the by-election.
"The NPP vigilantes will question you about a party you'll vote for. If you answer NDC, you'll be beaten.If you say NPP, you're asked to go scot free.
"Second and most dangerous will be adopted early morning of the elections or a few hours for the close of the poll.
"Never used any diplomacy in handling the NPP. Handle them with their own handcuffs," the sources told Soireenews.com.
