"Osimhen Fit To Face Barcelona" — Napoli Boss, Calzona
Francesco Calzona has provided a positive update on Victor Osimhen ahead of his side’s UEFA Champions League clash with Barcelona

Napoli caretaker coach, Francesco Calzona has revealed Victor Osimhen is in contention to face Barcelona in their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg tie.
The encounter is slated for the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday (today).
Osimhen was left out of Napoli’s squad for last Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Genoa after returning late from Africa Cup of Nations duty.
The Nigeria international was not deemed fit enough to partake in the game after returning from Africa Cup of Nations with a minor muscular problem and fatigued.
Calzona, who was named as replacement for Walter Mazzarri on Tuesday hinted that the Nigeria international is fit to face the LaLiga champions.
“Osimhen trained with the team, naturally it was not a long session, as we had many things to do, but he was working at full tempo,” Calzona told the media ahead of the game.
“All the players will be evaluated after tomorrow’s session.”
Osimhen is yet to register a goal for Napoli in the Champions League this season.
