Rema insisted that it was only a rumor and went on to express his respect for his more experienced Nigerian music industry peers.

Rema denies beefing Davido

Rema has denied rumors that his more senior colleague Davido and he are at conflict. The Marvin Records performer spoke with foreign journalist DJ Ebro about his reported conflict with Omo Baba Olowo.

He asserts that he avoids conflict, is an introvert, and loathes disagreements.

Former American president Barack Obama released his customary playlist in December 2022, and as was to be expected, some of the best Nigerian musicians were included.

The first black president to hold office published on his Twitter account the songs that made up his top albums of the year, which as was expected sparked a flurry of comments from other users.

Evidently, Barack Obama listed Burna Boy's Last Last first, then Ayra Starr's Rush and Rema's Calm Down.

Barack Obama highlighted the sentiment behind the post while requesting suggestions for additional songs to add.

We listened to a lot of amazing songs this year, so I always like to share my end-of-year music playlist with all of you. Some of my favorites are included here. Are there any tunes or musicians you recommend I check out?

Rema responded to the news by thanking Obama for giving him the respect he deserved, just like in 2019. The singer of "Ginger Me" expressed similar sentiments to those he expressed in 2019 when his name appeared on the list.

He wrote; ”I feel the same way I did in 2019 when I saw my Name on this list, I’m very grateful. ”
