According to him, Dr Bawumia who was seen in the NPP as the economic Messiah prior to the 2012-2016 electioneering year, giving Lectures on Ghana’s Economy has now stopped after playing part in Ghana’s economic hardship.

THE CAMPAIGN Team Member for the Flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kennedy Agyapong Mr Samuel Duah has slammed the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for his failure to manage the economy of Ghana,describing the ruling governing NPP as “bad managers of the econ­omy.”
According to him, Dr Bawumia who was seen in the NPP as the economic Messiah prior to the 2012-2016 electioneering year, giving Lectures on Ghana’s Economy has now stopped after playing part in Ghana’s economic hardship. 
In an interview on TV XYZ morning Show "Dwaboase", Mr Duah said, because there was absolutely nothing positive about the sinking economy of the country,Dr Bawumia has shifted his attention to pursue digitization rather than sticking to his area of expertise in economics.
Ghana’s economy is in total shambles under the watch of the Vice President Dr Bawumia," he added 
He stressed that from what has been witnessed so far by the much tuated economic wizkid, there is no denial of the fact that Dr Bawumia has mismanaged Ghana’s economy.
Mr Duah placed Ghana’s present economic crisis, epitomized in the extreme untold hardship facing Ghanaians, right at the doorstep of the NPP by Akufo-Addo/Bawumia led administration.
He stated that in the midst of plenty economic Lectures, Dr Bawumia is still not doing anything practical to deliv­er  the citizenry from the economic hardship currently experiencing by Ghanaians. 
 He said, since the NPP came into power for the past 7 years, they have mis­managed the affairs of the state and further deepened the economic woes of the ordinary Ghanaian.
Mr Duah was of the strong conviction that the NPP ought to opt for determined Presidential Candidate like Kennedy Agyapong to lead the party and rescue the country from its misery and place Ghana on the path of prosperity.
Mr Dual, therefore, charged the teeming supporters of NPP throughout the country and urged delegates to vote for Mr Agyapong come November 4, 2023 for the National Delegates Conference to lead the NPP so as to secure political victory for the party in 2024 general elections.
