MEMBERS of the Communications team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in South Dayi Constituency in the Volta Region have expressed their congratulatory message to
their Member of Parliament (MP), Honourable Rockson-Nelson Etse Kwami Dafeamekpor.
They were happy about Honourable Dafeamekpor for filling an application for interocutory injunction at the Supreme Court against the Speaker of Parliament and the Attorney General to restrict the legislature of approving the ministerial nominees vetted by parliament.
In a statement copied to Soireenews.com, the 
communication directorate of NDC South Dayi Constituency has observed with keen interest the commitment and desterity you exhibited in the discharge of your legislative mandate as the member of parliament of South Dayi Constituency.
"Your performance at the National level in our great party (NDC) has brought honour, recognitions, goodwill and respect not to the people of South Dayi alone but also, our great party and Ghana as a whole.
"Recently, you filed an application for interocutory injunction at the Supreme Court against the speaker of parliament and the Attorney General to restrict the legislature of approving the ministerial nominees vetted by parliament," the statement signed and issued by the leadership of the South Communication Directorate of the NDC in a persons of Mr Jonas Anyadi aka Abor, Mr Emmanuel Amoah a.k.a Pastor noted.
The statement asserted that this this legal action eventually led to the suspension of the consideration of the nominees for ministerial appointments by president Akufo-Addo due to his reluctance in assenting the bill on Human Sexual Rights and Family Values. 
It indicated that the suit also compelled the House to go on recess since no business of parliament can be conducted in the spirit of democracy & rule of law until the determination of the case by the Supreme Court.
In line with current events led by Honourable Dafeamekpor which is unprecedented and the first of its kind in the history of the fourth Republic of the Republic of Ghana, it noted that the communication directorate salute you and celebrate your achievements in the legislature and as our revered Member of Parliament.
