Tottenham has confirmed the departure of Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm.

Vertonghen was signed from Ajax in 2012 and has served the club amassing 315 appearances, scored 14 goals.

 

 

“The Club can confirm the departures of Jan Vertonghen and Michel Vorm following the conclusion of their contracts,” the statement revealed.

The defender holds the highest number of senior international appearances with 118 caps to his name.

Goalkeeper Michel who joined from Swansea in 2014 has also left after 48 appearances in all competitions across his two stints with us.

 

 

“We wish him well for the future and, like Jan, he will always be welcome at Tottenham Hotspur,’ the club said.

 

 

“The Club can also confirm the departures of Development Squad players Rayan Clarke, Jonathan Dinzeyi, Tariq Hinds, Phoenix Patterson, Maxwell Statham and Maximus Tainio following the conclusion of their contracts. We wish them all the best in the next stage of their careers,” it added.
