Stop judging us; gospel singers are people, not angels, says Ernest Opoku

Gospel musician Ernest Opoku has urged Ghanaians not to disparage individuals like him in anything they do because they are all human.

The singer claims that most people, especially Ghanaians, have such high expectations of gospel musicians that even the smallest error results in the crowd crucifying them and treating them like perfect angels.

The acclaimed musician made this statement in an interview while talking about some problems and unanticipated things that had happened to him in the music business, including his relationship with actress Nayas.

The incredible singer emphasized emphatically in an interview with Sompa FM that people should stop criticizing them because they are also humans, not superhumans as many people think.

He emphasized that most Africans have the misconception that gospel musicians are angels, which is untrue. Instead, he said, "we are just like any other person, of course we are humans."
