Born Ellen Ayensuaa Gyapong, known as Efe Keyz, an Afro Pop artiste, in an interview has warned some female artistes to end living fake lifestyles on social media.

Speaking with Graphic Showbiz, Efe revealed, most female artistes aren’t who they claim to be, hence her advise of caution to them to refrain from such acts. She defined female acts as the 'worst culprits of living fake lives.'

“We are quick to label popular figures on social media as slay kings and queens and even call them out on their fake lives but I know female acts are the worst culprits of living fake lives on social media’’

“It is easy to believe their rich lifestyles from the music videos but that is not the case. They fake their lives because they want to live up to what they show in their videos. Let us be real to ourselves and the society’’.

"I want to be real so I do not mind walking or taking trotro if that is what I can afford.”

Efe, revealed how she joined the music industry in 2017.

‘I wanted to be a live performer so I started following performances of live bands and I learnt a lot of lessons from them musically. On my way to work one day, I heard the late Mr. Willi Roi advertising for a singer on Pluzz FM so I took the number and called.

"We later met and he took me to the studio to sing Beyoncé’s song live on instrument. I did, he liked it and I was ready to learn so I quit my job to focus on music and he subsequently became my manager. He spent six months grooming me and we did a lot of work together’’
