Tamale Traders Crying Over Low Patronage of Goods and Services Ahead of Muslims Festival.

The traders in the Tamale Metropolis in the Northern Region are lamenting over the high cost of living due to the current frequent price increment in fuel which has been the major factor in the increase of goods and services in the market.

Sorienews Correspondent Opamago Paparichy speaking to some of the traders revealed that they have no option but to adjust the prices of their goods and services meant for the celebration of the Eid Adha festival since the current situation has been difficult for the sale of their goods and services.

This year Islamic festive season as compared to the previous years most customers by now would have come for all the items they need such as sheep, clothing, shoes, slippers, and other items for the celebration but the traders complained that, is not the case in this year's celebration but are compelled to reduce the price of their goods and services to offer their customers the chance to get some goods and services to celebrate the festival which at the long run will lead to a loss of their business at the end of the day especially livestock traders did not hide their displeasure over low patronage of their livestock in the market as tomorrow 9th July 2022 is the day for the celebration.

The traders, therefore, appealed to the government to help beat down the prices of fuel, the major factor in the high cost of goods and services in the market.
