Techiman North district Assembly to demolish unauthorised structures to ease traffic

Illegal structures mounted in the Techiman North District will soon be demolished by the District Assembly.
According to the Town and country planning officer, Mr John Obeng Mensah the exercise will evacuate encroachers and pull down unauthorized erections to ease traffic congestion in the township.
He said in a bid to tackle flooding and other problems as the rainy season approaches, the assembly will embark on the demolition exercise in the Techiman North District.
Mr John Obeng Mensah said preparations are far advanced as affected structures have already been earmark pending demolishing.
He called on all residing in such structures to as a matter of urgency vacate before the due date.
