Eno Barony has humbly accepted Sista Afia's claim that she brought attention to her craft.

After Eno Barony broke the record at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards by being the first female to win the Best Rapper of the Year, Sista Afia declared that nobody would have known Eno Barony if not because she started a bed with her.

Sista Afia specified that she was not trying to take away the feat that Eno Barony had achieved or trying to steal her success by claiming responsibility for Eno Barony's award but it should be noted that it was the beef that made organisers see Eno Barony's huge potential.

“There is no hate. She knows she is still my sister. And I am really really happy for her. Because people did not really notice how good she was until the beef. So I am just really happy she got something out of it.” Sista Afia noted.

Eno Barony has now acknowledged the claim by admitting that Sista Afia has truly been instrumental to her rise.

According to her, every one of the artists in Ghana has contributed to her victory one way or the other.

The rap goddess even thanked her colleague for the impact she has had on her career.

She noted that she and Sista Afia have always been on good terms despite the beef because of the support she has received from her.

“She has done a song with me before. So, definitely, she has contributed to my career. She has performed with me on stages, so she has. So thank you to Sista Afia.”

This she said while Speaking with Mz Gee on TV3 NewDay.

Enobp Barony also addressed her striking resemblance to the American Rapper, Missy Elliot by admitting that she was her role model while growing up.

She concluded that she however wants to be herself and not just another Missy Elliot.

“I adore Missy Elliot, but I want to be Eno Barony.”
