A list of prominent Ghanaian musicians has been officially published on social media by the CEO of the Ghana Music Awards USA. 

The list contains the names of the artists expected to perform at the music awards in 2020. A flyer containing more details of the event was also posted alongside the list, publicising that the event is scheduled to take Friday, July 3, 2020, at Waterford Springfield 6715 Commerce ST, Springfield, USA. 

The CEO, Mr Dennis Boston popularly known as Don D, has said that the Nominee announcement will hold at Gold Coast Restaurant and Cocktail Bar, Cantonments, Accra, Ghana at 7pm local time (19:00GMT).

Top artistes billed to perform include Bosom PYoung, Devon Acapella group, IONA, Guru, Lord Paper, Kuami Guitar, Kim Frunze, Nhyiraba Kojo and Article Wan. 

Last year’s event which was held at the Schomburg centre in Harlem, New York-USA saw the likes of Medikal, Salma Mumin, Sista Afia, Afia Schwarzenegger, DBlack and more grace the occasion.

The CEO started that the Nominee announcement event will be strictly by invitation. 

According to the organisers of the event, the main event is aimed at celebrating the Ghanaian culture, music and the hardworking artistees, in a bid to celebrate the milestone and achievements that they have attained. 

They claimed that although they received numerous entries, which made it tough for them to unveil the worthy nominees, they have put all of the entries through thorough scrutiny and their team of specialist have come up with a very comprehensive list. 

Ghana Music Awards USA is an annual event which is in its 4th year awards the most prestigious personalities in Ghanaian Entertainment and the Diaspora.
