The Military and police have taken over the place to restore calm, whiles investigations are ongoing according to Superintendent Bernard Baba Ananga.

A 64-year-old man shot dead has been shot dead as cornmeal, motorbike and 13 houses are set ablaze at Tingba in a farming community in the Saboba District of the Northern region.

The incident occurred after two Konkombas clans, Binafeebi and Nakpatiibi clashed over a piece of farmland on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

According to the report, the conflict started on Tuesday and continued last  Wednesday morning, in another Konkomba community, called inomado and serious gunshots were heard.

Soireenews gathered that two persons sustained gunshots wound and are receiving treatment at the Saboba government hospital. 

The Northern Regional crimes officer, Superintendent Bernard Baba Ananga confirming the incident to Soireenews said,  the joint security made up of Military and police have taken over the place to restore calm, whiles investigations are ongoing.

But those in the community are in safe hands.
