Defending Champions of the UEFA Champions League, Liverpool has been drawn against Atletico Madrid of Spain in the last 16 of the competition.
The Reds will begin the knock stage on the grounds where they won their sixth European Cup against Spurs. Having topped their Group E with 13 points, the Reds look forward to conquer Europe once again by surging past Diego Simeone’s side in both legs.
The first leg of the tie will take place at Estadio Metropolitano, with the return match at Anfield.
