Who should Ghanaians blame for Government's inefficiencies-Godwin Ako Gunn quizzes

Deputy Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Godwin Ako Gunn is questioning government as to what Ghanaians should blame for its inefficiencies.

"Traders are blaming the dollar, suppliers are blaming transport costs, transporters are blaming spare parts and fuel costs. Nana Addo is blaming Covid, Ukraine, Russia and Mahama", he said.

"You and I who have no one to blame are the ones feeling the heat", Mr. Gunn bemoaned. His comments follows the president's message to Ghanaians last, Sunday, October 30,2022 asking who forced Akufo Addo to speak? "I thought Sika doesn't like noise.

The hopefuls have lost hope and the nakedness of the cedi has been exposed. We are in a seriously bad time", he noted.

According to him, terrible things are happening at the country's ports with goods of importers being confiscated daily but he faulted the president's delivery adding that the statement fell short of one that suppose to repose hope.

He said the 30% cut on discretional expenditure and salaries of appointees are just a scratch on the surface.

"The size of your government is too large.Obolo government", he described the Akufo Addo government.

Suggestions

He suggested that the government should rather have a 50% cut in size.

He alleged that most of the appointees and employees are drawing salaries and fuel with no work to be done. .

"Your Excellency, I am sorry you lack presidential balls to take needed decisions", he further indicated.

"Why do you still have such a long convoy with a whole V8 carrying a presidential chair and another transporting a dais in such a time? The waste around you is a problem", Mr. Gunn said.

On the issue of a 'no hair cut', "Your Excellency, I don't trust you, but because "Sika mp3 dede" I will wait for the better days ahead when Bawumia and the solid team regain their voices", he express optimism, Kun Fa Yakun.
