With the countless waves of tributes flooding in after Bishop Nyarko’s death was confirmed, Lydia Forson has given an insight into the beloved character that the popular former actor possessed. According to Lydia, although she only worked once with the actor, she saw that he commanded so much respect from his colleagues. 

She spoke that the actors’ memories would continue to live with Ghanaians solely because of his eminence in the works he featured in. 

Miss Forson took to her Instagram page to pay her tribute: "I’ve only ever worked with him once and that was on Side Chic Gang before then I’d never met him. But he commanded so much respect and brought a lot of comic relief which came so naturally that he became hard to forget. In fact, every time I’d see him I remember the first thing I ever heard him say “this coat too is not nice, what joooon coat is this” (it sounded better coming from him),"  on her Instagram page May 2, 2020.

The veteran actor is reported to have died at the Ridge Hospital in Accra, on Friday, May 2, 2020, after a short illness.
