Ashanti Regional Minister swears in 39 MMDCEs and Mayor into office

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Simon Osei Mensah has sworn in the new Mayor, Hon. Samuel Pyne and 39 Municipal and District Chief Executives into their offices to begin work.
The colourful event which took place at the Regional Coordinating Council also witnessed chiefs, MP's and many other dignitaries who graced the occasion.
Swearing them into office, the Ashanti Regional Minister urged the new MMDCES to deliver their duties to meet the president's dream. Humility, unity, hard work, regard for people, according to the minister, should be the core character of the new Municipal and District reps.
Speaking on behalf of the MMDCES, Hon. Alexander Frimpong, MCE for the Asante Akyem South said, they were committed to fulfilling the president's dream.
He said they were ready to work hard to enable them to break the eight agenda.

These districts included the Ahafo Ano Municipal, Juaben municipal, Akrofuom district and the Sekyere Kumawu district.
