Barcelona supporters have raised insults at Paris Saint Germain President, Nasser Al-Khelaifi to stay away from influencing Lionel Messi to the French capital when his contract expires at the end of the season.

The two sides, Barcelona and PSG will meet in the round of 16 knockout stage of the Champions League at the Camp Nou and upon arriving in the Catalan City on Monday, Blaugranas fans greeted Nasser Al-Khelaifi with abuses and insults, Marca reports.

"Leave Messi alone, thief!" one fan could be heard shouting in the footage captured by Gol TV's 'El Golazo' programme.

"Son of a b**ch!" went another insult.

"Give me one million euros," added another who was waiting outside the PSG team hotel.

Messi’s departure out of the Barcelona team keeps growing from time to time as the season edges closer with his contract renewal still pending.

The Argentine is a free agent and can start speaking to interested clubs with PSG and Manchester City earlier linked with the 33-year old’s transfer.

PSG have emerged as strong favourites especially with his affiliation Neymar, following Di Maria’s earlier words linking his compatriot to the Parc De Princes.
