Free SHS Educational Policy Has Improved Education Academic Excellence In Ghana- Bawumia Declares

VICE PRESIDENT of the Republic of Ghana, who doubles as the Presidential Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia, has stated categorically that the free Senior High School (SHS) educational policy has improved the academic excellence of the education system in Ghana.
He said that accessibility of education to citizens is a very important and major tool for human resource development.
He made this comment when he joined Effiduase Senior High Commercial School to celebrate their 80th Anniversary.
He further commended the Effiduase Senior Commercial School( Effisco) for improving their reading subjects.
He mentioned some of the subjects and saw it as a great achievement .
The Guest of Honour for the program, Lawyer George Sarpong who is the Chairman for the Media Commission, Ghana also called on the old students to do the right thing during the election day.
The headmistress of Effisco, Mrs. Peace Owusu -Bediako called on the president to help them put the internal road of the campus into a good shape.
