'Good Signing' – Rio Ferdinand On Incoming Man Utd Star
Ferdinand believes Mount’s imminent arrival at Manchester United is a good signing, adding that he loves the England midfielder’s style of play

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has given his verdict on the club’s new incoming signing, Mason Mount.
Mount underwent his Man United medical on Monday, July 3, 2023, ahead of his transfer move to Old Trafford.
Man United agreed on a £55million fee, plus a further £5m in add-ons, to sign the 24-year-old England midfielder from Chelsea.
However, Ferdinand believes Mount’s imminent arrival at Man United is a good signing, adding that he loves the England midfielder’s style of play.
Speaking on his FIVE YouTube show, Ferdinand said: “I think Mason Mount is a very good signing. He will be a valuable member of the squad.
“He is a good player, a top player, I love the way he plays football.”
Mount can effectively play in the central midfield, central attacking midfield and in the wide offensive positions if needed.
Under the guidance of Thomas Tuchel, he won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the Club World Cup trophies for Chelsea.
In the 2021-22 campaign, the Three Lions attacking midfielder directly contributed in twenty nine goals in all competitions.
It will be intriguing to see where Erik ten Hag will utilize him in his starting lineup. His preferred position is No. 10 but Bruno Fernandes is the main man for the CAM role
