Bridget Otoo has aimed a dig at actors campaigning against John Dumelo in the Ayawaso West NPP campaign trail.

A group of entertainers, namely Kalybos, Prince David Osei, Bismark the Joke, Cwesi Oteng and actress Bibi bright had earlier joined forces to campaign against John Dumelo.

Bridget has labelled the newly formed coalition a 'daft move', especially when the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, while campaigning for NPP PC, Lydia Alhassan on Friday, November 27, 2020, at Ayawaso West Wuogon, had stated that actors and entertainers have no place in Parliament business.

“Parliament is for serious minded people and not people who have done some movies and think they are popular. It is a serious place; I will tell him; the laws of the country are enacted in parliament."

"If our President can continue his job very well, he needs Lydia Alhassan in Parliament to do the job so that all you need as a constituency will be easily given to you,” she said.

The actors' action of campaigning against one of their own, John Dumelo, in support of a party that has labelled them unfit for politics only prove the point that has been made.

Bridget Otoo subtly indicated that the actors could have gone to other places to campaign for the NPP instead of going to the constituency where John Dumelo is contesting.

“If I were an actor supporting NPP, maybe Ayawaso West Wuogon won’t be the place I would go and campaign. Such a daft move,” She wrote on her Twitter page.
