Khloe Kardashian Reveals She Turned Down Tristan Thompson's Proposal

Khloe Kardashian revealed on the Sept. 29 episode of Hulu's The Kardashians that Tristan Thompson made an offer before they broke up, which she declined. She said the following.

With Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian did not hear wedding bells.

The Good American creator revealed that she had previously turned down a proposal from the NBA player because she wasn't "comfortable" with where their relationship was at on an episode of The Kardashians on Hulu on September 29.

Khloe told her sister Kim Kardashian, "What I meant is that I need to make sure this is a different relationship because I want to be proud to say I'm engaged to anyone.

And that's why I said, 'you know, I'm not comfortable accepting this right now, because I'm not excited to tell my family.'"

Khloe remarked, "I'm not ever going to accept something and give someone false hope—and I said that to him," even though she conceded that Tristan probably found this "hurtful" to hear.

Kim claims Tristan told her about the proposal, which is how she learned about it. "She said to Khloe, "I asked him months later, the night after I thought it occurred, and he's like, 'Oh, I did it months ago.'" You guys weren't told, did she?"

In a confessional, Kim further explained that Tristan had called her to share his Valentine's Day 2021 proposal plan.

"Which was like a year since they had drama," she noted. "And then I called him the day after and I was like, 'Hey, I never heard anything from Khloe. Oh my god, did you propose?' And he was like, 'Oh yeah, I did in December.'"

Since originally getting together in 2016, Khloe and Tristan—who are parents to daughter True, 4, and a 2-month-old son—have been on-again, off-again due to cheating rumors.

After it was established that Tristan was the father of Theo, a son of Maralee Nichols who is now 9 months old, the couple broke up once more last year.

Tristan posted on his Instagram Story on January 3 that he "takes full responsibility for my actions." "Now that paternity has been confirmed, I'm looking forward to raising our son amicably. I truly apologize to everyone I have offended or let down during this experience, both in public and individually."
