Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi Takes On Akufo-Addo, NPP Govt For Buying So-Called Modern Trains From Poland.

According to Mr Larbi, from the look of things it doesn't appear Ghana is ever going to be in a position to be producing modern trains to sell to other countries anytime soon unless the NPP government is booted out of power to make way for better governance by the NDC.

Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi Takes On Akufo-Addo, NPP Govt For Buying So-Called Modern Trains From Poland.

DIRECTOR of the Eastern Regional Legal Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Isaac Minta Larbi, has taken a swipe at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for currently misappropriation of Ghanaian tax payers money on unnecessary investment which has caused financial loss to the nation.

According to the prominent legal luminary with over 22 years of legal experience both within Ghana and internationally, it is high time for well meaning Ghanaians to wake up from their slumber and not allow itself to be deceived by the NPP government.

He stated that instead of buying assembled trains from Poland the One District One Factory policy if it was not a lie could have been the source of train export out of Ghana to gain foreign exchange.

For Lawyer Larbi buying assembled trains from Poland is NPP's day of shame and indictement on NPP's government One-District One factory policy, stressing that the decision by the government to buy assembled trains from Poland is a sign of the failed policy and the complete bad governance of this Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.

The NDC firebrand lawyer stated that the NPP, Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia have been a disaster for Ghana, calling on the eligible Ghanaian voters to consider voting out NPP government from power in the 2024 general elections.

Rather, he stressed the need for Ghanaian voters to vote massively for Flagbearer of the NDC, former President John Dramani Mahama to win the political power in the 2024 general elections in order for Mr Mahama to rescue the country from the bad governance of Nana Akufo-Addo and Bawumia.

According to Mr Larbi, from the look of things it doesn't appear Ghana is ever going to be in a position to be producing modern trains to sell to other countries anytime soon unless the NPP government is booted out of power to make way for better governance by the NDC.

"I am embarrassed by the trains from Poland and if we are serious people we would come out with a plan and a decision to bypass Poland in a maximum of 15 years.

"Then I know we are now ready to develop in Ghana but certainly not under this NPP. It's a disaster. I am really sad for Ghana. We should bow down our heads in shame because this is not our destiny.

"Bad governance, deception, greed and selfishness has brought us here. Every country is bypassing Ghana and we are still not learning to change our ways," Lawyer Larbi made these remarks in the news items which was captured by Soireenews.com.

In a two page write up, the Koforidua based Private Legal Practitioner expressed that:
"It is sad that Ghana we are still at the level where we still can't feed our people and be self sufficient in producing our own food to feed ourselves."

He asked that "When are we going to get out of this?"

"If we keep on signing bad agreements for our God giving minerals such as gold, oil, timber, diamonds, manganese, bauxite and now lithium for foreigners to take all our resources away how do we make enough money as a people to start investing in such productive technology to be producing modern trains?

"I am really sad. This is not the Ghana we should be having. Our destiny is different from this. We should all bow down our heads in shame and tell ourselves we are going to start doing the right things and trust God to help us along the way to start making things better for us. We deserve better and we need to start working towards that," the lawyer expressed sad.

According to him, the first President of the Republic of Ghana, Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkruma lives in us so we should start acting like him, adding that Ghana is the star of Africa and we should be leading the way when it comes to development."

By now, he indicated that Ghana should have developed so much that Ghana would have become synonymous with Africa with people thinking Ghana is the whole of Africa due to heavy development, stressing that "That's our destiny. "

No one should make merry over this so called modern trains from Poland. Its a sad day for Ghana and a serious indictment on the One District One Factory policy of the NPP now led by the 2nd King Promise Alhaji Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia the failed mate who wants to drive Ghana further into the ditch.

Below is the press statement:

WE SHOULD BE EXPORTING TRAINS INSTEAD OF BUYING ASSEMBLED TRAINS FROM POLAND. THIS IS NPP'S DAY OF SHAME AND AN INDICTMENT ON NPP'S ONE DISTRICT ONE FACTORY POLICY.

Ghana's true story in the eyes of Dr Kwame Nkrumah needs to be told. We have become a bunch of myopic people who always think low of ourselves despite a stalwart such as Dr Kwame Nkrumah being our first leader and President who stood tall amongst his peers and gave Ghana so much glory such that no one in Ghana proud to be a Ghanaian should be praising low standards approach to development in this country.

In 2016 when the NPP was led by loud mouth Dr Alhaji Mahmoud Bawumia and the failed Akuffo Addo they told everyone in Ghana that they would be developing Ghana through an industrialization policy of One District One Factory when voted into power.

Instead of focusing on that when they had the chance to lead Ghana, they were busily appointing their cronies into government positions just to use the position to milk the country dry.

The little money that is generated in Ghana which could have been put to good use was used to pay 125 Ministers appointed by Akuffo Addo and the NPP and after squandering the money they went on a borrowing spree securing loans from almost everywhere they could lay hands on, squandered the loans too and now came back to Ghana to put their hands on pensioners money after they broke the economy.

Today they are making noise over importing assembled trains from Poland instead of admitting that their One District One Factory was a sham to deceive Ghanaians for power and apologize for it

If indeed that policy was genuine the NPP led by the Chairman of the Economic Management Team Alhaji Mahmoud Bawumia would have by now brought to Ghana as one of the factories they promised an Assembly plant for the modern trains they are talking about to create jobs, preserve our foreign currency and generate even more foreign reserves from the export of these modern trains assembled from a Ghana factory to African countries using the African Free Continental Trade Agreement (AfCTA?

It's really unfortunate that Ghana is making noise about buying trains from Poland.

It's even worse to see the NPP government making noise about it when it was this party that made ghanaians believe that it was possible just as bawumia is trying to do now.

For me this should not be any good news at all.  It is rather a sad day for Ghana.

What people need to know is that Poland as at the year 1960 was not so much ahead of Ghana and with good policies we could have been at least at par with Poland if not above them now.

Poland was part of the Eastern European bloc considered to be very poor at the time.

Is it one of those countries that today Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana would have to go to import assembled trains from?

Kwame Nkrumah's Ghana has really become a laughing stock under the NPP. It should be us Ghana selling modern trains to other countries by now but look at us now.

A poor country like Poland has consistently done the right things and today has surpassed Ghana for us to go to them for modern trains.

The gross domestic product (GDP) per capita at current prices in Poland increased from 670 euros in the first quarter of 1995 to a record 4890 euros in the fourth quarter of 2022. In the last ten years, the GDP per capita increased by 74 percent. Total Wealth of Poland in 2021 is estimated at $1.525 trillion.

The Republic of Poland is a Central European country with Warsaw serving as its capital and largest city. It is an affluent market and high-income economy and is regarded as a middle power. Poland offers its citizens a high quality of life, safety, and economic freedom.

Compare this to Ghana and you see how badly Ghana is managed. We have very low quality life with very poor environment for humans to live in.

This NPP government promised that they'll make Accra the cleanest city in Africa by the end of their term.

We are only a few months away from two terms and Accra is as stinky as it has always been with poor weather conditions and pollution every single day.

Indeed talk is cheap so no wonder Bawumia has also started talking and telling us it is possible. What is possible? After 8 years it is now that he thinks it is possible?

Ghanaians should reject people like Bawumia who has had it all from nowhere and instead of appreciating Ghanaians for the opportunity he still thinks he can fool Ghanaians like he did in the past and continue to ride on us cheaply.

We need serious people who are competent to manage the affairs of Ghana.

Enough of the myopic people who are getting us nowhere for all these years.

"Ghanaians are suffering" in Bawumia's own words before he became Vice President.

I am embarrassed by the trains from Poland and if we are serious people we would come out with a plan and a decision to bypass Poland in a maximum of 15 years.

Then I know we are now ready to develop in Ghana but certainly not under this NPP. It's a disaster.

I am really sad for Ghana. We should bow down our heads in shame because this is not our destiny.

Not in our lifetime.
