Manchester United have confirmed that both Christian Eriksen and Rasmus Hojlund have picked up injuries that will see them miss matches after the international break.

The two players will not feature for Denmark after they were forced to withdraw after picking up knocks during Saturday’s 1-0 victory over Luton Town.

Eriksen came off in the first half with a knee injury, while Hojlund appeared to sustain a hamstring issue in the second half.

“Christian has a knee injury that is set to keep him out for around a month.

“Rasmus suffered a muscle strain. It is hoped he will return before the end of November,” a statement from the club on Monday evening confirmed.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka missed Saturday’s victory with illness and is expected back after the international break.

Potential return date: Sunday 26 November vs Everton.

England international Luke Shaw has only played twice this season due to a muscle injury but there is hope he will return after the international break.
