Sheikh Alhaji Ali Dauda, Municipal Chief Imam

On his part, the Municipal Chief Imam, Sheikh Alhaji Ali Dauda thanked Allah for bringing Muslims to this successful end.

He admonished Muslim youth to desist from ill-like behaviours that do not befit the true spelling of Islam.

He touched on issues such as reckless riding of motorbikes, hazardous looking dreadlocks, tattooing of bodies, unnecessary and worldly jubilations etc where he indicated that such acts differ from Islamic life.

"Your act spells where you belong to. Dreadlocks, wee smoking, drinking, prostitution, unnecessary tattooing, reckless riding assumably depicting celebration are not part of us,' he said.

You're not part of us, don't call yourself a Muslim if you belong to any of the aforementioned categories," he revealed.

Lastly, the Chief Imam who acknowledged the participation of the MCE, the MP and other NPP party officials commended them for their immense contribution during the period. He again called on them to make sure all promises are well fulfilled as he prayed for them.
