MP, Ntim Fordjour Gives Support To Nyankumasi Ahenkro Market Fire Victims

Ntim Fordjour told the fire victims that they can only look into the future with hope, urging them not to allow the calamity that has befallen to discourage them from fighting on in life to meet their respective destinies.

Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin South Constituency who doubles as the Deputy Minister of Education, Honourable Reverred John Ntim Fordjour, has encouraged victims of the recent fire outbreak in the Nyankumasi Ahenkro market to remain calm and refocused to bounce back to their normal human life.
Ntim Fordjour told the fire victims that they can only look into the future with hope, urging them not to allow the calamity that has befallen to discourage them from fighting on in life to meet their respective destinies.
The Member of Parliament said this when he personally made some cash donation of GH¢ 5,000.00 and 20 bags of cement to 5 victims who were badly affected by the recent fire outbreak at the Nyankumasi Ahenkro Market in the Assin South District of Central Region.
The MP promised to get them new shops. 
The gesture was to lighten the burden of the affected traders 
On her part, the DCE for Assin South District, Madam Felicia Ntrakwah Amissah also advised the general public to off all electrical equipment when going out, especially in the harmattan season.
The affected traders, on their part, were greatful to Rev. John Ntim Fordjour for the kind gesture he has shown to them in those these trialing moments.
Some of the executives who accompanied the MP to the market are the NPP Chairman for the Assin South Constituency, Mr. Joseph Effah Nkyi, and the constituency women's organizer.
Weeks ago, the Nyankumasi Ahenkro market was gutted down by the fire, destroying properties worth hundreds of thousands of Ghana Cedis.
Several items belonging market sellers including their capital base were all destroyed in the process.
