The appointment came 24 hours after his declaration as president-elect.

 The President-Elect of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has appointed his transition team to manage the changeover between the former administration and the current in his second term of office.

Nana Addo made the appointment within 24-hours of the electoral declaration by the Electoral Commission chaired by Mrs Jean Mensa.

This was revealed on Thursday, December 10, 2020, in a letter signed by the Director of Communications of the Office of the President, Eugene Arhin.

The Chief of Staff at the Office of the president, Hon. Akosua Frema Opare is the chairperson of the 15-member team.

Members involved are Hon. Yaw Osafo Marfo, Ken Ofori Atta, Albert Kan Dapaah, Hon Hajia Alima Mahama, Mrs Mercy Debrah and a few others.
