The Agyaade-Manhene of Ntonaboma Okotwaasuo Ntirepong ll, has donated ten brand new desktop computers to Ntonaboma Roman Catholic (R/C) Basic School and Junior High School (JHS) in Kwahu Afram Plains North District in the Eastern Region.

Addressing joyful children during the donation, the chief Indicated that the items are meant to facilitate effective teaching and learning among pupils in the basic schools.
The donation would also to motivate the school children the learn hard to enhance the delivery of quality education in the district.

Okotwaasuo Ntirepong ll,who has education at his heart advised the pupils to take their studies seriously since they were the future leaders of the country.
He stressed, the greatest asset of every nation hinges exclusively on investment in human capital and encouraged the children to be disciplined in order to become great personalities in the society.

He therefore pleaded with the government to come to their aid in terms of School building infrastructures, road networks and health care delivery.
On his part, the Ntonaboma R/C Basic and JHS, PTA Chairman, Mr. Emmanuel Kwasi Sawiri thanked the the chief for his unflinching support given to the school to improve  performance of the pupils in the area.
He appealed to the traditional authorities and government to provide the computer Lab and Library facilities to ensure quality education since we are on digital world.
He further expressed, gratitude to the chief for his generosity efforts and said the computers had come at the right time.
"We are going to use the computers to improve smooth and effective teaching and learning to ensure that every student in the community boost their education.
"We believe that the donation would go a long way to improve teaching and learning in the District," he said.

The Ntonaboma R/C Basic and JHS School Management Committee Chairman, (SMC) Mr. Vicent Dakora on his side, remarked that, the computers had come at the right time and will help solve immensely their major challenge on lack of computers to enhance effective teaching and promised that they will make good use of the items to achieve their intended purpose.
He further appealed to the Traditional Leaders of the Community to lobby promotions for the teachers being posted at the island areas to boost them, in other to motivates others to accept posting to the area since their major challenge are back of teachers.
