Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta remains resolute that one setback does not have to derail their entire season, despite their recent 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa, on Sunday, April 14, 2024.
Following the loss, which dashed their hopes of reclaiming the top spot, Arteta emphasized the need to maintain perspective.
Although goals from Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins led to Arsenal's first Premier League defeat since New Year’s Eve, Arteta stressed the importance of resilience.
With Manchester City poised to secure the Premier League title, Arsenal faces a pivotal week ahead, including a Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich.
When questioned about the potential for their season to falter, Arteta responded with confidence, stating, “If one result is going to do that then we are not strong enough. That’s very simple.
"We had one of the best performances that we’ve had all season in the first half against a really good team.”
