Mr Logic is accusing the church of 'buying' the Vodafone Ghana Music Award's Artiste of The Year plaque for Diana Hamilton.

The artiste manager and pundit explained that Diana Hamilton should not have been nominated in the category alongside secular artiste as she is a gospel artiste.

He rationalised that she automatically gained an advantage over all others since the church and Christians would do everything possible to make one of their own wins.

This, according to him, is a bad stain on Ghana on the international stage because the artiste who has won is not as prominent as other artists in the same category and has only won because of bias and her affiliation to a particular group.

Mr Logic particularly stated that the churhc purposely helped Diana Hamilton win the Artiste of the Year just to prove to the secular artistes that gospel artistes have 'grace' that others don't have.

He further accused the same set of people of not wanting gospel artistes to do music with secular artistes because they feel like secular artistes are demons and sinners.

With this, every gospel artiste, most especially Diana Hamilton will gain an unfair advantage over the likes of Kidi, Adina, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, and Sarkodie who were also nominated in the same category.

The controversial pundit further opined that it is a bad idea to mix gospel artistes with secular artistes for the artiste of the year award simply because of the reasons he had already stated.

In his proposition, he asked the VGMA board to treat the Artiste of the Year category as a commercial entity rather than nominating whosoever they think deserves to be there.

He explained these on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Accra-based Hitz FM hosted by the renowned disc jockey and musician Andy Dosty, Mr. Logic.
