The chiefs and people of Takorase, in the Ashanti region's Amansie South District, have demanded the government to pay rapid attention to abandoned projects in the town such as the CHPs Compound, School, and Road, among others, or face their wrath.

Nana Amofa Dankwah, the Mmrantehene of the area, expressed unhappiness with the manner the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government has ignored projects undertaken by the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to him, the residents of Amansie South always vote en masse for the NPP, but the government has nothing to show for it.

He claims that the government has failed to provide people with basic social services and has abandoned all NDC-led projects.

Some of the enraged citizens bemoaned the fact that the central government and the Amansie South District Assembly have failed to implement any development initiatives that would help the neighborhood.

They claim that while they did not vote for the NDC, they were always provided with basic amenities while they were in power. However, their own party has refused to provide them with amenities and has instead abandoned the NDC's projects.

They are pleading with the government and the Amansie South District Assembly to help them, stating that if they do not, they will not be able to vote in the 2024 general elections.
