The Bono Regional Minister, Honourable Justina Owusu Awo Banahene has emphatically stated that the progress of education in her region is her priority and will make sure every child getss access to education.

Speaking at the launch of Ghana National Association of Private Schools Bono Regional (GNAPS) week, she commended the efforts of the private schools for their contributions to the Nation’s development and promised to support the private schools in her region whenever necessary.

She, therefore,e, urged the owners of the private schools never to abandon their support for the national development and as well keep a siren environment for their children's development. 

Pastor Seth Sarfo who spoke on behalf of the Regional GNAPS Chair said, private schools were badly affected by the COVID 19 pandemic and are still struggling to bounce back after the Covid-19 but called for the government's support to rekindle their activities.

He added that some state institutions have taken advantage of the private schools and are sabotaging their services as means to boost the public schools which to him will not help build the nation.

Mrs. Alberta Agyemang who represented the Regional Education Directorate also expressed her appreciation to the private schools for their maximum contributions to the country’s education sector and assured them of their continued support for the progress of their business growth.
