Jaman North District Health Director, Mr. Jacob Kwadwo Aleeba, has urged Ghanaians to strictly abide by the Covid-19 safety protocols to help reduce the spread of the virus.

He stressed that despite the fact that wearing the mask ‘’is not easy but it is necessary to wear it’’.

The health director has however urged the entire citizenry in the country to always maintain social distancing and to avoid social gatherings as directed by President Akufo Addo.

Mr. Aleeba noted that no positive cases had been recorded in the district but three suspected samples had been sent for testing.

He appealed to parents to purchase nose masks for their wards whilst they wait for the disbursement of other PPEs by the government.

The health director called on parents in the district to continue to support and have faith in the health directorate since the necessary arrangements have been put in place to contain the infection of the novel coronavirus in the schools.
