Gospel musician Joe Mettle has vehemently denied media reports that he is set to tie the knot with TV presenter Berla Mundi. 

The questions thrown at Joe Mettle were as a result of some posts from Berla Mundi's close friends including Giovani Caleb congratulating her for finding love. It has been reported that the two have been dating secretly and were planning on getting married after the coronavirus pandemic. According to Joe Mettle, the viral reports of his supposed marriage were false.

He broke his silence on the supposed forthcoming marriage when one of his fans asked him about it online. In a reply to his fan’s question posed on Instagram, he said, “False news madam”. 

Rumors went rife on social media on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, that Joe Mettle and Berla Mundi were going to get married very soon. The two, the rumors claimed, had dated for some time now and were ready to make their relationship official.

The rumors even went further to indicate that Joe Mettle and Berla Mundi had planned to get married earlier but had to postpone because of the outbreak of COVID-19. However, in a response to the viral rumors, Joe Mettle has denied any such wedding plans with Berla Mundi.
