The people of Kpatinga, situated in Gushiegu District, Northern Region of Ghana, have spoken of their disbelief in the reality of coronavirus.

According to residents, the novel pandemic is a myth and until they witness it, they will not believe its existence.

They have disclosed with optimism that none of their relatives and even the people they live in the community have contacted the disease and even if they do, financial challenges are restricting them from adhering to the various health protocols as most of them can't even afford a nose mask.

They are therefore pleading to the government to supply them with Personal Protective Equipment as backups in the fight against the virus.

Twelve more persons have died from the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Ghana pushing the death toll to 533.
