Nana Piesie Osei-Anto, a renowned socio-political analyst has said he is disappointed in President Akufo-Addo's State of the Nation Address (SONA) delivered last Tuesday.
The analyst said he was not impressed with the president’s statement on the current crisis of the country expected by the citizens, but rather made talkative of what he (the president) feels to.
He reiterated that what the president said was not encouraging, stating that most promises of the governing party New Patriotic Party (NPP) have not been fulfilled.
“There’s nothing new from what the president said, it was just usual talking. There were critical areas the president needed to tackle, like unemployment, including key issues retarding the nation's development", the analyst bemoaned.
Nana Piesie added that the constitution should be reviewed to give mandates on state of the nation address, so that every president to deliver his or her message should be given areas to speak about.
