The leader of the Youth of the area, Emmanuel Acquah, expressed much concern on the 1District 1Factory saying it will bring jobs to the area.

Nananom of Gengenadze in Effutu Municipality in the Central Region are calling on investors to avail themselves for lands to develop their area to create jobs for the youths.

Speaking to the Central Regional Soireenews correspondent, Abusuapanyin Kojo Ahinful, the Obatan of the Area, Nana Damtsebo IV, said vast land for development is ready to be released to investors and developers to create jobs in the area and its adjoining communities to help desist the Youth from travelling to other regions for greener pastures.

He noted that Estate developers are the major cause of problems in some communities but Nananom is ready to give up the lands to willing developers to work on it.

He disclosed that land has been given to the sitting Member of Parliament, Honourable Alexander Afenyo Markin for Estate and a Saucepan factory which has been established to help the youths as a source of employment.
 
In an interview with the leader of the Youth of the Area,  Emmanuel Acquah expressed worry about the lack of work in the town which account for some of them travelling afar to work.

He expressed that if lands are given to investors and developers for development, the menace will end.

 He was much concerned with the one District one factory that the government is embarking which will bring jobs to the area.
