Nkoranza South NPP establishes grassroot support fund

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) members in the Nkoranza South of the Bono East Region have come together to institute an endowment fund titled " Grassroot Support Fund" for the running of the party in the constituency. 

The finest patriot in the constituency Mr. Effah Kwarteng as part of his contribution to see the fund established has presented an amount of ten thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc10,000) to be used as seed money for the establishment of the grassroots support fund in the area.

Speaking at the delegate's conference to elect the party's constituency executives, Mr. Kwarteng made it known that, in most cases, the grassroots base of the party is normally neglected and there is a need to support them so that the new patriotic party can rise to a high standard it deserves in the constituency in terms of parliamentary and presidential elections.

He indicated that many people have contributed their quota to the success of the party, and now is the time for the party to also cast their minds back and critically resources the grassroots to motivate and reward them with their commitment, zeal, and strength to boost the party members at all levels to keep on working hard to break the 8.

He charged the Ministry of Food and Agriculture with supporting the grassroots members who are into farming with farm inputs, particularly weedicides, fertilizers, countless, boots since most of the grassroots supporters are farmers.

He however indicated that,  if the Ministry of Food and Agriculture is not ready to support in that direction, he is prepared to champion that course to help build the  New Patriotic Party in the Nkoranza South Municipality of the Bono East Region.
