Speaking to the media after his vetting, the member of Parliament for Essikado-Kettan constituency said he is now going to continue his constituencies engagement with delegates after a successful vetting.

New Patriotic Party flagbearership hopeful, Honourable Joe Ghartey has been vetted as the third and last candidate for vetting exercise on Wednesday July 5, 2023.
Speaking to the media after his vetting, the member of Parliament for Essikado-Kettan constituency said he is now going to continue his constituencies engagement with delegates after a successful vetting.
To him, he will not spent time thinking about other aspirants rather he will focus on his candidature and how to improve the lives of Ghanaians if elected as president of Ghana come January 7th 2025.
Meanwhile, the members and executives of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ahafo Region, have expressed optimism that former Railways Minister is capable of leading the party to a resounding victory in 2024.
The members and executives of NPP in the Ahafo Region hailed Mr Ghartey as a selfless leader, saying in him, they see a candidate who can help the party win power once again in 2024.
Speaker after speaker at the meeting recollected their encounters with Joe Ghartey over the years.
The Chairman of Asunafo South, Elvis Mensah, for example, recounted the immense assistance and support Hon Joe Ghartey had given to their constituency over a long period of time.
