To make things right, let's ban the Black Stars team - Lil Win

Renowned Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah Lil Win is pleading with those in charge of Ghana's football administration to suspend the senior national team, the Blackstars, and make necessary corrections in light of their underwhelming performance at the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote D'ivoire.

To make things right, let's ban the Black Stars team - Lil Win

Like many angry Ghanaians who were hurt by the Blackstars' match scoreless draw with Mozambique yesterday, Lil Win is adamant that the senior national team's declining fortunes and dismal results in recent tournaments can only be addressed by suspending it.

In a Facebook post yesterday after the match, he wrote, “At this junction, let us banned the black stars team and fix it well (sic)”.

A few hours before the game began, Lil Win posted a video in which he angrily warned the players to win or face the wrath of Ghanaians, suggesting that he had seen the impending loss from a distance.

"Blackstars, I pledge by the people of Ghana that we will take back all the kente outfits we provided you and remove every photo from Instagram and other social media sites if you don't play with a lot of dedication and joy today to bring us defeat.

As shown in the video, he added, "That is not all; we will curse and beat you people as well."
