French International, Kurt Zouma could be offloaded from Chelsea after it is reported that the team is embarking on a total transformation ahead of next season.

The Blues could be tempted to sell with a summer spending spree reportedly on the cards.

Frank Lampard has already secured the service of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and personal agreement has been made with Timo Werner of RB Leipzig in a bid to activate the German's 65 million euro release clause to play at Stamford Bridge.

Kurt Zouma has played a key role at center back this season after the departure of David Luiz to Arsenal making 33 appearances with nine games remaining.

He has three years left on his contract and is developing to become one of the best defenders in the world as he improves his style of play.  

According to French Newspaper, L’Équipe, Jose Mourinho is monitoring the situation of Kurt Zouma and would love to reunite with his former player at Spurs. The Portuguese recruited Zouma at Chelsea and has been joined by Everton to battle it out should Chelsea ‘transfer list’ the 25-year-old.

 

 

Zouma was loaned to Everton in the 2018-2019 season and a permanent deal is in place to secure the services of the defender.

Chelsea will begin ‘Project Restart’ on Sunday, June 21, 2020, against Aston Villa.
