Don't Vote For NDC Again; The Party Has Taken Voltarians For  Fool For Far Too Long—NPP Central Tongu PC Urges Constituents

THE NEW Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Central Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region, Mr Godwin Casola Ayikpa, has called on the eligible voters to muster courage to vote against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 general elections because the NDC has taken Voltarians for fool for far too long.

According to Hon Godwin Casola,  the people in the region have been voting massively for the NDC in every national elections but the party has taken them for granted, daring the NDC to tell him why Voltarians should vote for the party again in the 2024 polls.

The outspoken young NPP PC has taken a swipe at the NDC’s flagbearer John Dramani Mahama over what he describes as a total neglect of the Volta region, the party’s electoral stronghold and home region of the founder of the NDC, the  late Flt. Lt Jerry John Rawlings.

In the write-up of Mr. Ayikpa on happenings within the Volta Region which was captured by Soireenews.com, he asked whether Volta Region is actually a world bank or a taken- for- granted bank of NDC?.

According to him, when good people have been fooled for far too long, they don't have to grow none the wiser!

He pointed out that sometimes the fooled also dine with reason to prove a strong point to their foolers! And this is the time Voltarians should let the NDC know that they cannot be fooled again!

He asserted that this is how vividly the relationship between the NDC and Volta Region has been especially immediately after their revered son, the late J J Rawlings left office as President of the Republic.

What is very clear is that the NDC has been treating the Volta Region as its feeding bottle especially from 2008 till now.

This feeding bottle is left unwashed, uncared for, and dumped in the most acute corner when the political child starts eating by himself or herself.

The feeding bottle becomes useful again only if a new political child is about to be given birth to.

"Can the leader of the NDC, who has been a vice President, a President and a former President before give the good people of the Volta Region convincing and sensible answers to the following questions":

He posed that apart from Rawlings, if truly Volta Region is NDC's World Bank, which son of their World Bank has been chosen as a running mate since 2008?

He asked that how come John Mahama picked his running mate in 2012 from the Central Region, another running mate from the same Central Region in 2016, and repeated the same person from the Central Region this year?

Additionally,  he asked that is it the case that a consistent World Bank does not have any qualified person since 2008 to be even a running mate? Should we safely conclude that to you, the Region is just the always-all-the-time fooled and TAKEN-FOR GRANTED BANK? Or you are attesting that Volta Region is your feeding bottle?

Dr. Obed Asamoah asked: What at all did John Mahama do for the Volta Region? Are you able to answer him?

"If Volta Region is not your feeding bottle, why have you canceled the Eastern Corridor Road construction during your tenure? Why did you get rid of many Voltarians when you became president?

"How come you wickedly abandoned inner town road projects in the Volta Region, especially Ho and Hohoe Town roads?

"You have awarded one of the most important road projects in the Region to your friend Kanazoe which was poorly constructed! What was the reasoning behind this? Is it not because the Region is your feeding bottle?

"What moral courage do you have this time to seek the votes of the fooled and the TAKEN-FOR GRANTED BANK again?

Anytime you visit the Volta Region, doesn't your conscience prickle you to be a little bit apologetic?,the NPP PC asked
