The Worldwide leader of the Congregation of the Church of Theocracy, Apostle Kadmiel Agbalenyoh

The Worldwide Leader of Congregation of Theocracy, Apostle Dr Kadmiel Agbalenyoh, has given the detailed accounts from the gospel perspectives of the misunderstanding which has characterized the declaration of the 2020 general election outcome by the chairperson of Electoral Commission (EC) which has landed the EC in the law court.

The Man of God stated that what has resulted in misunderstanding after the just ended December 7, 2020, General election was as a result of the stance that National Democratic Congress (NDC) took right from the beginning of the election process from registration of the biometric voters.

He indicated during the exercise that the NDC never trusted the Electoral Commission (EC) of being fair, credible and transparent in all the electoral processes.

Addressing journalists yesterday, Apostle noted that it is lack of confidence in Madam Jean Mensa by the NDC that has actually led to the post-election protest staged by the biggest opposition  Party after the contest.

The Worldwide leader congratulated both Nana Akufo Addo and Mr John Mahama and their parties for the close contest.

He stressed that the President-elect deserves a special commendation for his re-election as it tends to show that the people appreciated his first term and therefore wants him to complete a second to end his good policies

He noted that the negative comments coming from the ex-President Mahama against the EC is actually disgracing the Commission and the nation on the international scene after John Mahama declared that he had won the elections contrary to what the EC had declared.

Apostle Agbalenyoh emphasized that NDC should know that power is given and not snatched especially as they have been in power before they should not have reacted in a negative way.

The man of God also noted that it was not proper for the Peace Council to be declined audience by the former President since it was obvious that they were trying to meet him on issues of peace.

He condemned all the killings which occurred during the elections and suggested the bereaved families have to be compensated adequately especially the orphans among them and the widows by the state.

He said to avoid such barbaric acts during future elections, footsoldiers, and other fake security persons should not be allowed to be part of the security team.

He affirmed that President Akufo Addo should remember that he is not an NPP President but Ghana's and a father for all, advising him to foster for the development of Ghana and not that of only NPP.

The man of God had a word of advice for the Odeefuo and other so-called prophets who predict winners of elections to stop the practice since such actions end up in confusion. He averred that true pastors are not supposed to be biased since all political parties have their members also in the churches.

Apostle Agbalenyoh also explained that the issue of strongholds is gradually changing as places which used to be strongholds of parties are now being penetrated by other opponents which were not strongholds in the past by the penetrating groups.

He said things are now changing so tribal sentiments and hatred must not be allowed to be part our body politics.

He reminded that the NDC is now getting sizeable votes from Ashanti Region as NPP is also appreciating gradually in Volta so the issue of strongholds should not deceive politicians in these modern times to be violent when they get lesser votes than they expect from their strongholds.
