Greater Accra Health Directorate hold Annual Review meeting.

Greater Accra Health directorate and its stakeholders in Greater Accra has held an annual health assessment yesterday in Accra.

This meeting was held to assess their performance in the year 2021 and how they can improve upon their good work and correct errors that occurred so that moving forward the health directorate will have a better future.

Speaking to the Greater Accra Regional Director of National Health Insurance (NHIS), Bernard Nii Anyaa, the meeting was also to equip their MNE officers, claims, and quality assurance directorate together with district managers so that they will know what to do or not whiles monitoring on the field for the betterment of the health service in the Region.

Nevertheless,  Regional directors are supposed to work by standard operating procedures which enables us to work efficiently without leaving any bad traits even if a third party intervenes in our managerial affairs for spy or monitoring.

He, therefore, assured all stakeholders and officers who were present at the meeting to channel what they've learned to the district and local officers for monitoring and evaluation to become efficient.

Even though the health directorate was not able to meet their target in the management of Covid 19 but they did well of about 80%, surprisingly measures are in place for linking NHIS card to the Ghana card whereas very soon people can go to the hospital with their Ghana card without necessarily visiting the hospital with NHIS card.
